Job Entry Plan


First Day

            Goals: To remember each person’s name after I have meet them; be kind and understanding to ensure that the transition does not interfere with student’s success

            Objectives: To facilitate change when necessary and reassure all stakeholders that the right decision was made

            Activities addressing goals and objective: Have assistant help me with the learning of names and there position in the District. People are more willing to help out when you they feel that you are trying to get to know them what their goals are for the district

            Resources needed to achieve goal and objectives: Time

First Week

Goals: Go by each school in the district to access many aspect of being the new district leader. By doing this I will get an idea of area of concern for facilities, the schools safety, campus moral, and getting staff comfortable with my presence

            Objectives: To access the needs of the students in the district from many different stakeholders

            Activities addressing goals and objectives: Go to the stakeholders and having impromptu conversations about the student‘s need for success.

            Resources needed to achieve goal and objectives: Time, maps and GPS

First Month

Goals: Have a good understanding of what is expected of me; the goals objectives from the board and work on a plan and timeline to meet those goals and objectives

            Objectives: To have a plan in place to address the goal and objectives of the board

            Activities addressing goals and objectives: Meet with the board to write down the expectations; the goal and timeline for the implementation of these goals  

Resources needed to achieve goal and objectives: Time, organization, man power, budget for meeting the goal and objectives

First Year

Goals: To maintain visibility

            Objectives: To reassure stakeholder that I am here for their students

            Activities addressing goals and objectives: Get a calendar of all activities in the District and making myself available to an activity or function at every school each month not just the fun ones.

            Resources needed to achieve goal and objectives: Time and constant reminder that the students are the most important part of the equation in the District’s success. Keep them first in all things
